The Tech Team #860 double wire hose clamp does a superior job securing hose connections. There are many types of hose clamps. Most people think that the common gear clamp will fit all applications but for really important jobs the double wire clamp may be a better choice. Gear clamps dig in and cannot apply uniform pressure around the entire circumference of the hose whereas a double wire clamp applies uniform pressure making a more secure connection. Tech Team makes 5 sizes of double wire clamp one of which can be used for most common applications such as automotive radiator hoses, clothes dryer vents and HVAC ducting.
